Anxiety Disorder Panic Attack
Sun, Feb 22, 2009
Everybody feels anxious, worried, or even panicky at times…when they’re face to face with an unexpected situation. But they deal with the situation, learn from it, and the next time that situation occurs, they handle it with no problem. However, some people feel anxious or panicky every time they are in a certain situation – for example having to stand up to make a speech, seated with people in a crowded car or airplane, and so on.
These people suffer from Anxiety Disorder. There are many methods to combat an anxiety disorder panic attack. Some of these methods involve taking medication to combat the disorder (depending on how severe it is), others preach against using medication and suggest natural ways to work out of the problem. This is because medication, no matter how helpful it may be, invariably has side effects.
One non-medicated way to face anxiety disorders is to utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy, or CBT. Studies have shown that people can conquer anxiety disorder panic attacks on their own, depending on their severity, or use CBT with the guidance of a qualified therapist.
What happens when someone has a panic attack? They start hyperventilating, and may indeed find themselves unable to breathe. They’ll break out into perspiration, feel extremely nervous, and so on, and be unable to control this emotion. At this point, the only thing to do is flee the situation – if they’re in a crowd of people or a small room they have to get out.
These attacks are a self-fulfilling prophecy. The next time they are in the same situation, they will start to think…what if it happens again. Their bodies will tense up in an attempt to stop a panic attack, which unfortunately simply helps to bring it on. So they will start avoiding those situations entirely, which inevitably will circumscribe their lives.
It’s not necessary. Anxiety disorder can be controlled or cured with the right therapy or medication. It’s only a matter of finding out which solution is right for each individual person.

Mine is on a crowded airplane with the feeling that I can’t and won’t be able to get out-because of all those people. What can I do?

Many people who get panic attacks feel like their life is basically over. They feel out of control and possibly even like they are dying. If that is how you feel, you might seriously doubt there is any way you can end these panic attacks. Fortunately, if you have the right methods, you CAN eliminate the panic and live your life again. Put your doubt aside right now, and grasp onto this hope
The first thing you need to do is take stock of your symptoms. People suffer from different symptoms, and your treatment plan might differ depending on the ones who you are dealing with. If you are seeking the advice of a doctor, you should tell your doctor what symptoms you are experiencing so they can help you end your panic attacks.
After you have evaluated your symptoms, you need to do some research. Research what works for other people by joining forums that discuss panic attacks. You definitely don’t want to focus on negative threads — focus on positive threads where people have found their answer. There are tons of people who have successfully banished their panic for good and it can be motivating for you to read their stories.
It’s also a good idea to read books and e-books written by people who have been in your situation. There are many great techniques out there that have worked for thousands of people. By reading about these methods, you can further perfect your own personalized plan to end your panic attacks. Some of these techniques are even downloadable, which is important when you need this information as soon as possible.
Another thing you might want to do is join a support group. Knowing that there are other people going through the same thing can actually help you get through it all. You feel like you’re not alone and that you’re not going crazy — this is a true disorder that you can end with some effort.
At this point, you probably have a good grasp on what your symptoms are as well as different methods you can try to eliminate your panic attacks. Not all the methods will work for you, so you need to read through them and find the ones that will! After you’ve done that, it’s time to create a plan for getting rid of your panic attacks. Take note of what you can do in the short term as well as the long-term so you can start to feel better.anxiety attacks symptoms

Human world is a place of good and bad. Anything can be happened anytime anywhere. There is no person who is known about his/her future. Though all of us at least have an expectation from the time or the future, sometimes things go far beyond expectation. And when things go out of our control, uncontrollable fear may comes in bad way. You should try to be ready for everything. Just this kind of feeling may let you pass some toughest time of your life as most of the time panic attack comes when reality goes beyond our imagination . actually we not fearless probably anytime, when things go beyond our imagination, we become panic, look and look again, find the truth, try to be wise. Believe that you have no fear, try to act like fearless. panic disorder treatment

@chels I know what you mean, its hard to find good help these days. People now days just don’t have the work ethic they used to have. I mean consider whoever wrote this post, they must have been working hard to write that good and it took a good bit of their time I am sure. I work with people who couldn’t write like this if they tried, and getting them to try is hard enough as it is.
